An Australian cedar and rose mahogany work table, circa 1840, the rectangular top with cross-banded edge above a cross-banded frieze with turned inverted finials to corners, the work box has been recovered in deep red silk, the two side supports are flared and divided in peg design both top and bottom and are joined by a turned stretcher and raised on rounded rectangular bases with applied patera decoration and on turned bun feet, 54 cm wide, 39 cm deep, 77 cm high.
