A William & Mary period walnut and seaweed marquetry cabinet on chest, English, late 17th century, the moulded cornice above a pair of cupboard doors with scrolling arabesque panels within a double feather banded border, enclosing an arrangement of drawers, with conforming panel decoration and tier-drop handles, above a long drawer with fold-down writing surface and drawers and pigeon holes, above two short and two long graduated drawers each with conforming decoration, raised on later turned bun feet, 110 cm wide, 52 cm deep, 182 cm high.
