A pair of Chelsea oval dishes, late 18th century, painted with a central panel of birds in flight within a deep golded border, the deep everted rim with painted panels of fruit and berries on a gros bleu ground, restored, 29 cm wide, 24 cm deep. Gold anchor mark (2). Provenance: Exhibited Bradford Corporation Loan Exhibition, Franco-British Exhibition 1908 and Ceramic Society Chelsea Exhibition 1952.
