A mid 19th century rosewood case bracket clock by T Jones Sydney, the top with glass panel and stepped pediment above a black enamel Roman chapter and signature 'T Jones Sydney' on a finely engraved floral ground, the movement with twin chain fusee, striking on the hour and with pull repeat, 32 cm high. note: Timothy T. Jones & Son was established in 1853 at 330 George Street, Sydney and was listed in Sands' Directory of 1863 as ' Watchmaker, Manufacturing Jeweller and Optician. Importer of English and French clocks, watches, jewellery'. It's presumed that stock was imported from it's parent Company T. Jones of Ludgate Hill, London
