A late 19th century Vienna style walnut regulator, the architectural pediment over a long glazed door with fluted pilasters and long glazed side panels above an ogee moulded base with finials and a later central lobed base, the two-piece enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, the weight driven movement with deadbeat escapement with adjustable pallets to a wooden rod pendulum with micrometer regulation, striking on a coiled steel gong with two brass weights, 46 cm wide, 19 cm deep, 181 cm high
