Hedger, Mayor of Ashfield on the Occasion of His Laying a Foundation Stone of Pavilion in Pratten Park 7-8-1920', wooden handle with gold shield initialled 'Foh', marked 'Lion Passant/STG SIL/ Lion Passant', fitted case with label 'J.D Alexander, Silversmith and Cutler 83 York St, Sydney', 18 cm length. Pratten Park, Ashfield is the original home of the Western Suburbs Magpies and is still home of the Western Suburbs cricket club, a club that has had both, Michael Clarke and Bob Simpson in their playing ranks
