Whales tooth scrimshaw by Peter Brown on timber base with paper scroll reading 'Earl of Pembroke, Launched in 1761 at the Coal and Whaling Port of Whitby As a Coal Collier. She Had a Length of 106 Feet and a Beam of 29 Feet. She Was Purchased By the Navy in 1768 and Commissioned As His Majesty's Bark Endeavour.
