Loughlin/ Sheet Anchor/ Melbourne Cup/ 1885' 101 cm high other notes: each year, between 1875 and 1909 the Ballarat Brewing Co. Presented one, or a pair of hitching posts to the owners of the Melbourne Cup winning horse. The posts were made in the Ballarat iron foundry
