An impressive large Edwardian silver trophy cup, presentation engraved 'Presented By the Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society For Competition at the Shows of the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand', the recipients named to the reverse dating from 1934 to 2006, the plain helmet form bowl with two large handles with sculpted lion masks raised on knopped stem and flaring base with gadroon border. Edinburgh 1904 by Hamilton Inches. Weight 2030gms, height 36 cm. Diameter 22 cm, raised on mahogany stand with silver presentation plaque, 'Re-Presented As the Donald Grant Memorial Challenge Cup 1968...'. Provenance: from the family of the late Donald Grant
