A large Australian cedar extension dining table and six chairs, by Peter Gay, Adelaide, circa 1880, in the Baronial style ornately carved inhigh, relief with an acanthus edge above a frieze decorated with foliate swags, bunches of fruit and lion masks, on bold twist turned legs, with eight matching leaves and cedar leaf cupboard; the chairs with a padded balloon back and seat raised on conforming twist turned legs (8) 595 cm wide, 148 cm deep, 75 cm high.
