An Australian silver trophy cup by J. M. Wendt, Adelaide, circa 1897, the domed foot naturalistically modelled as a rock strewn grassy mound, the standard moulded as three entwined grapevines surmounted by a bowl relief decorated with various fruits, flanked by bold loop handles and a conforming cover, inscribed 'Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of S. A., presented by A.M. Simpson Esq., awarded to Messrs. T. E. Robson & Son, for collection of dried fruits limited to 12 varieties, won at the September shows, 1897.8.9, Samuel Goode, President, C. M.
