A pair of large Continental painted porcelain cassolettes, late 19th/early 20th century, each tall urn with a pair of handles styled as branches on a waisted socle and stepped plinth, the domed cover with an open handle finial, each urn and plinth painted to one side with a different scene of a child within a floral and foliate cartouche, the opposing side of each urn with an oval reserve painted with flowers, otherwise cobalt-glazed throughout with green borders and gilt details, the covers conforming, a Sevres-style mark underside.
