A rare Japanese 1880s Sendai kimono chest, the chestnut front with a combination of two full width drawers flanking five other drawers, two enclosed behind the small cupboard door, decorative sand cast iron handles and shaped back plates, large engraved circular lock plates and decorative iron strap and studded fittings, handles to side, good polish and condition. 106 cm x 45 cm x 86.5 cm
