A Turkmen tribal rug, early/mid-20th century, the field of typical tekke gul and gurbaghe gul design in blue, cream, and orange on the Burgundy ground, the variously geometric borders in conforming colours, the ends fringed (wear to selvedges and fringes and a small loss at one corner).
