A French gilt metal mounted painted bracket clock and bracket the dial signed Jn. Bte B, circa 1750, with an enamelled Roman numeral dial, the movement with a verge escapement housed within a waisted case, applied with foliate cast mounts, together with a bracket of conforming design, (the movement lacking the strike train), the clock 90 cm high; the bracket 36 cm high.
