An important Italian painted, ivory inlaid ebony and ebonised cabinet, circa 1860, of architectural form, the exterior inlaid in ivory with vignettes depicting biblical scenes, interspersed with string inlay and foliate cartouches, the four central doors each painted to the reverse with a biblical scene, opening to an interior fitted to the upper section with five doors, the lower section with two panelled doors, raised on bracket supports, 140 x 258 x 55 cm.
