A 19th century French gilt bronze figural mantel clock, with an eight day bell strike silk suspension movement and a Roman numeral dial housed within a cartouche cast in the form of a soldiers shield flanked by a centurion helmet, an arrangement of spears and a standing soldier, the lower section cast with military trophies, 50. 5 cm high.
