A fine pair of Italian painted terracotta allegorical figures, representing Autumn and spring, after the original models by Canova, foundry mark G. C, each standing figure modelled as a semi-draped woman in classical attire, one figure holding a posy of spring flowers, the other holding a bunch of grapes, raised on modern painted wooden plinths, each figure 15 cm high; each plinth 92 cm high.
