Ward, London, circa 1770, with a silvered Roman numeral chapter ring, subsidiary seconds, strike/silent dial and calendar, the eight day movement housed within an arched hood, above a shaped rectangular casement door, the whole painted with figural and architectural scenes in raised gilt, 237 cm high.
