A Louis XV style cut brass and tortoiseshell inlaid mantel clock, mid 19th century, the English bell striking double fusee movement with anchor escapement housed in a waisted case inlaid with cut brass and veneered in tortoiseshell with gilt metal mounts, the enamelled Roman numeral dial with a brass surround painted with foliage and figures, 47 cm high.
