A mid 19th century Louis XV style cut brass inlaid tortoiseshell and gilt metal mounted bracket clock and bracket, with a count wheel strike anchor escapement on one bell, the dial with enamelled Roman numerals on an embossed brass ground, within a waisted case applied with foliate and figural gilt metal mounts, the separate bracket inlaid contra parti with brass and tortoiseshell and applied with richly cast gilt bronze mounts, the clock; 88 cm high, the bracket; 32 cm high.
