A Chinese brass on wood open carved stand table gong the circular brass gong copied from a traditional bronze mirror, calligraphy symbols on one side, smooth mirror surface to the reverse, supported on a stylised fish wood carved base, raised on a shaped oblong platform plinth with four carved feet. Note, some loss to and repairs to wood stand. Height 59 cm. Diameter 32 cm
