A Chinese export ware pair famille rose porcelain large jars with covers each with two gilded diaper framed large panels painted with interior scenes containing a group of figures, representing an official surrounded by courtiers, the official or emperor receiving gifts, the jar body with longevity and good luck symbols, and smaller panels containing figures, the covers each figure painted and with a gilded lion-dog finial, unmarked, 19th century. Note; one jar with broken piece (present) and neck crack, it's cover rejoined but with a large chip to the inner rim. Height 50 cm
