1984 Los Angeles, XXIII Summer Olympics: 1984 Olympic Torch, brass-finished aluminium with tan leather handle, bowl portrays Olympic rings, motto and La Memorial Coliseum Stadium, 59 cm tall. Flame lit in Olympia, Greece on May 7 1984, and it arrived in New York the following day. It took 82 days to carry the fl ame through 33 States, 9375 miles, to Los Angeles.
