1976 Montreal, XXI Summer Olympics: 1976 Olympic Torch, aluminium, 67 cm tall, stem painted red, with white Montreal logo, top painted black. Designed by George Huel and Michael Dall. The fl ame was carried from Olympia, Greece to Athens where it was transferred by satellite to Ottawa; 245 runners carried it to Montreal.
