A pair of quality George III silver crested candlesticks, the shaped circular bases with fancy 'C' scrolls rising to a knopped fluted stem with shell corners, baluster shaped capitals with stiff leaf motif and detachable nozzles with foliate scroll decoration. The shield crest with ribbon base engraved 'In Ardua', weighted bases. Sheffield 1815 by John Watson. Height 28.5 cm. Total weight 2067gms
