A rare pair of late 19th century New Zealand Walter Slaney silver and greenstone knife rests, the silver ends as large fret cut, sculpted and engraved fern leaves connected by diamond section greenstone bars with applied silver collars and 'NZ', embossed 'Slaney' to one end and 'Silver.
