A spectacular porcelain vase and cover the body extensively decorated with applied flowers, insects and two putti, the rococo framed panels decorated with a painting of Meissen Castle and a romantic couple in antique costume, the pierced cover surmounted by a flower posy. Underglazed blue mark similar to Meissen crossed swords. Sold with a large Victorian glass dome. Modification to dome's wooden base. Mid 19th century. Vase. Height 60 cm. Dome. Height 73 cm
