An Australian 19th century gold locket brooch; the oval brooch features a revolving locket within a finely worked frame with Banksia, floral and leaf decoration. Safety chain attached. 65 x 65 mm. Unmarked tests as 15ct gold. Attributed to Hogarth, Erichsen & Co. Wt. 32.1g. C 1860. (small damage to two leaves)
