Blood Transfusion Apparatus in mahogany box. Metal name plate inside box for C.Wright & Co, new Bond St London repeated on the elaborate nickel plate syringe which has an ivory plunger handle. Box has fitted lid to top containing transfusion tube. Paper label pasted down on the inside of the box for J.C Henly Surgical Instruments 5 Burton Street, Milsons Point, North Shore. Ten pieces including the rubber transfer tube, an almost complete set with an Australian connection. C. Wright is not listed in Clifton, so it is post 1851 probably c1870.
