A Rotorua Carved Desk Stand the sloped face features an elaborately carved Wheku with Paua eyes, glass pen holder and ink well and an inset paua shell. The surface is fully carved in a variety of Maori patterns and paua inlay. From the Ohinemutu school of carving, dated 1947. Height 8.5 cm Depth 19 cm
