A British Hussar mameluke general’s sword reputably belonging to the King of Tonga, with engraved blade inscribed with warrant. Cross quillons with silver Crown over JT. Slab ivory grips, silver scabbard with bronze fittings but discernable by Henry Wilkinson. (blade pitted and rubbed). Length 94 cm
