A Chinese mother of pearl-inlaid carved hardwood arm-chair, first half 20th century, probably a rosewood, the serpentine top-rail above a pierced splat carved with fruit and leaves and open arms and solid seat, the shaped front seat-rail inlaid with mother-of-pearl as trailing foliage, on square-section legs joined with peripheral stretchers.
