A Chinese export blue and white cup and small dish, qing Dynasty, Yongzheng period (1720s), salvaged from the Ca Mau cargo, the circular dish decorated with a scene of insects flying around a flowering shrub in a fenced garden, the cup with similar decoration, associated. Height 3.5 cm. (cup) diameter 10 cm. (dish). Provenance: 'made in Imperial china' (Ca Mau cargo) sale, Sotheby's Amsterdam, January 29-21, 2007, the cup lot 68398 (original lot sticker and inscription underside)
