A small Chinese export blue and white vase and cover, qing Dynasty, Kangxi period (late 17th century), probably salvaged from the Vung Tau cargo, baluster shaped with a domed cover, the body painted with lappet-shaped panels, each enclosing a small boy holding a flower, a painted leaf mark underside.
