A small Chinese export blue and white vase, qing Dynasty, Kangxi period (late 17th century), probably salvaged from the Vung Tau cargo, of square yen-yen shape, the sides of the neck and body painted with flowering foliage, a painted leaf mark underside. Height 16 cm. Provenance: Almost certainly 'Vung Tau Cargo' sale, Christie's Amsterdam, April 7-8, 1992
