A small Chinese export blue and white vase, qing Dynasty, Kangxi period (late 17th century), probably salvaged from the Vung Tau cargo, of hexagonal baluster shape with a knopped neck, the facets of the body alternately painted with landscapes and flowering foliage, foliate decoration to the neck and shoulder, a painted swastika-type mark underside.
