A French gilt spelter figural mantel clock, last quarter 19th century, the movement by Japy Freres et Cie, also marked 'A. & F.', bell striking, the enamelled Roman numeral dial within a drum case surmounted with a rustic structure, the figure of a traveller alongside, the whole on a scrolling foliate base with black marble inserts.
