A large Chinese carved ivory standing lady figure, her hair tied in formal high loops adorned with an exotic bird, black stained detail, a flowering branch with tassel to her left hand, a smaller conforming branch held high to her right, her draping robe with bow and tassel highlights, natural curved form, the 'lines of retzius' grain strongly evident, raised on a circular section carved wood stand. Height of ivory figure 30.3 cm
