Japanese Wakizashi short sword, the blade shobu zukuri with ihori (iori) mune, the hamon suguha and gold habaki with pattern, the tang futsu kurijiri with inscriptions to both sides and attributed mei Suishinshi Hideyo Nyudo, in shira saya together with one set of sword furniture including tsuka with gilt kashira and fuchi of dragons, a signed bronze tsuba with cranes by the water, the saya in black lacquer with cloud motifs in relief with dragon sayajiri and a further saya mount of a grasshopper, fitted with a signed bronze kozuka (with green paper no 347935). Blade length 46 cm valuation by Tom Kiernan dating blade to c1830
