Japanese Efu (Hoso) Tachi court sword, the blade narrow shinogi zukuri chu kissaki with ihori (iori) mune, having short deep fuller to one side and two shallow on the other, with sugu hamon and shitogi tsuba, the tang futsu kiri with three holes and mumei but attributed to Kunishige, the tsuka with ray-skin and Imperial paulownia, in a black lacquer saya with pierced gilt metal mounts in bitsu case with lengthy inscription.
