A French transitional-style mahogany bed, late 19th century, the head-board with a moulded top above a panel veneered in a sun-ray design with cross-banded kingwood borders, the foot-board with similarly veneered panels flanking a central panel of burr walnut, each with various ormolu mounts and on toupie feet, with original rails.
