A Chinese export silver tankard, apparently with a chopmark only (rubbed), late 19th/early 20th century of spreading cylindrical form with a handle modelled as a dragon, decorated with four cartouches within a lattice ground, the cartouches alternately decorated in relief with scenes of figures in gardens amongst buildings and trees and with natural scenes of foliage and insects, with a blank armorial shield to one side. Height 12 cm. Weight 277gr
