A Japanese export silver handled dish, meiji Period (1868-1912), jungin and other characters underside, rectangular with swept sides and a pair of swing handles, on four feet joined with stretchers, the sides modelled as basket-weave overlaid with a flowering vine in low relief, the handles and feet modelled as bamboo cane.
