A Chinese export silver trophy cup and cover, zee Sung, Shanghai, early 20th century, chalice shape with a pair of handles each modelled as a bird on a branch, one side of the bowl decorated in low relief with a phoenix and flowering foliage, the other with a shield-shaped cartouche with engraved Chinese inscription, the stepped cover with foliate-decorated bud finial. Height 30 cm. Weight 535gr
