Early Colonial five drawer casuarina desk on four splayed tapered legs with spade feet, first quarter 19th century. The desk is decorated with a double stringing of what appears to be huon pine and baleen, there are two shallow 'secret' drawers concealed in the sides and the middle drawer has a sliding segmented compartment. secondary timbers Include cedar and pine.
