Mr John Coxall Know You, that I, Charles Robert, Baron Carrington, the Governor and Commander-in-Chief aforesaid, Do, by virtueof the power and authority in me vested by the Act of Parliment paysed in the Thirty-first year of her present Majesty's Reign, and intituled 'An Act to regulate the Volunteer Force,' and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said Colony, hereby appoints you, the said Mr John Coxall to be second Lietenant in the Tenterfield Reserve Corps of Volunteer Infantary, subject to passing an examination in twelve months time.
