A boxed set of plaster relief plaques, after the Elgin Marbles 19th century, John Henning (1717-1851), the fitted timber case with eight shelves containing a total of forty six individual casts representing scale models of the Parthenon frieze later known as the Elgin Marbles, some plaques cast with Henning, F. London, 1818, 1819, 1820, one shelf marked Phigaleia 1 to 12, (some cracks and chips), each cast approximately 23 x 6 x 0 .7 cm, the box 42.5 x 17 x 29 cm.
