A sterling silver mounted emu egg ink well shallow ovoid, with a sterling silver cover centred by an ink well with a hinged lid and a finial cast as an emu standing amongst fern fronds, flanked by angular handles, raised on a circular foot and a turned blackwood base, hallmarked with a leopard's head beneath the cover, 21 cm high.
