A French late 19th century bronze figure of a lion-tamer entitled 'Belluaire', after Adrien-Etienne (1845-1902), the standing, semi-clad figure holding a stick (part missing) with a young lioness a his feet, on a naturalistic base, raised on a spreading rouge marble square plinth base, inscribed 'Belluaire' to the front and signed Eug Marioton, brown patination. 55 cm high
